We are looking for an App Product Specialist to oversee the management and optimization of our consumer-facing pollen app, which is available in 11 markets. This role will be responsible for ensuring the app delivers a seamless user experience, meets market-specific needs, and remains aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and local market representatives, to drive app performance, feature enhancements, and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • App Management & Optimization:

o Oversee the day-to-day management of the pollen app, ensuring smooth operation across all 11 markets.
o Monitor app performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance the user experience.
o Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality updates and bug fixes.

User Experience & Engagement:

o Analyze user behavior and feedback to drive improvements in app usability, content, and functionality.
o Collaborate with local market teams to ensure the app meets regional needs and regulatory requirements.
o Develop and execute strategies to increase app adoption, retention, and engagement.

• Feature Development & Roadmap Planning:

o Gather insights from users, stakeholders, and industry trends to define the app’s feature roadmap.
o Prioritize feature requests and work with the product and development teams to execute new releases.
o Ensure new features align with the app’s value proposition and business strategy.


• Market Coordination & Stakeholder Management:

o Act as the primary liaison between local market teams, developers, and business leaders, ensuring alignment across regions.
o Work with marketing teams to support app promotion and user acquisition campaigns.
o Provide training and documentation for local teams to ensure effective use of app features.


• Analytics & Performance Tracking:

o Track key app metrics (e.g., DAU, MAU, retention, churn) and report insights to stakeholders.
o Use analytics tools to measure feature success and inform future updates.
o Conduct A/B testing to optimize app performance and user engagement strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 3+ years in app product management, digital product management, or mobile app optimization, preferably in a consumer-facing role.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with app development processes, UX/UI principles, APIs, and app analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Amplitude).
• Market & Consumer Understanding: Experience working across multiple markets with an ability to adapt strategies to different user needs.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with experience managing feature roadmaps, release cycles, and cross-functional teams.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working across tech, marketing, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in health, weather, environmental, or consumer apps is a plus.
• Knowledge of ASO (App Store Optimization) and digital marketing strategies for app growth.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance for digital health-related applications (if applicable).
