Business Analyst

As we continue to grow across European markets, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and operate at the intersection of Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial Strategy. This role provides a unique opportunity to deliver high-value business insights while supporting operational excellence and compliance with our Supply Integrity Policy.

You will report directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner for Germany and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide impactful data-driven recommendations, monitor regional performance, and enhance decision-making at all levels.

Your responsibilities
As Commercial & Supply Analyst, you will take ownership of critical commercial data flows and support performance tracking across Europe:

• Monitor and analyze ex-factory and in-market sales across European countries
• Ensure full compliance with ALK’s Supply Integrity Policy, maintaining and evolving control mechanisms
• Monitor real patient demand trends to support tactical and strategic commercial decisions
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders including General Managers, Finance Business Partners, Supply Chain, and Commercial Excellence teams
• Support and drive sales forecasting and cost planning across regions
• Prepare and analyze management reports, offering business insights and strategic recommendations
• Develop and improve KPI dashboards, business processes, and reporting tools
• Contribute to or lead projects aimed at enhancing reporting systems, compliance structures, and process efficiencies

Your profile
We are looking for an analytically strong and business-savvy individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within a commercial or supply chain context
• Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Business Intelligence tools, and Think-cell
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret complex datasets
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with an ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and cultures
• Experience in project management and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement
