Junior AR Accountant (Spannish Speaking)

Position Summary:
As part of ALK’s strategic journey to become the global leader in allergy treatment, we are expanding our capabilities in financial operations. To strengthen our connection to local markets and deliver superior customer support, ALK is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our AR Team within the European Accounting Center at ALK’s Global Business Services Centre (GBSC) in Kraków.

In this role, you will ensure the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions, support audit and compliance activities, and play a key part in continuous improvement initiatives within the AR function. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Customer and Vendor Master Data.

• Process Customer, Intercompany, and Transfer Pricing invoicing.

• Perform daily customer payment application and open items management.

• Handle direct debits and oversee the dunning/collections process.

• Execute Month-End Closing (MEC) tasks in accordance with the financial calendar.

• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

• Conduct internal controls, including preparation, submission, and archiving.

• Support internal and external audit processes.

• Liaise with Local Finance teams to resolve AR-related queries.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation.

• Participate in continuous improvement, standardization, and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Prior experience in an accounting function within a large company, Shared Services Center, or group finance department.

• SAP experience is a strong asset.

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

• Customer-oriented, organized, and dependable.

• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.
