Clinical Development Coordinator, Global Clinical Development

The position
You will report directly to the SVP, Global Clinical Development (GCD) within our Global Research & Development function, where you will work alongside several teams of enthusiastic and dedicated people. You will become part of the GCD leadership team, assist with coordinating and executing on the strategic GCD agenda and pro-actively drive the budget planning and controlling processes within GCD.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Drive the budget planning and controlling process within GCD.
  • Monitor all budget-related activities, follow up on actual costs, and proactively identify and communicate potential financial risks.
  • Drive the GCD leadership agenda by developing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items, in close collaboration with the SVP and the leadership team.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for senior leadership meetings and internal communication.
  • Prioritize and manage the SVP’s calendar, meetings, and commitments with precision and discretion.
  • Drive administrative projects and process optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication platforms in GCD to facilitate smooth interaction and coordination across stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Assist the various teams in GCD with cross-functional tasks and processes.
  • Support project teams with maintaining and updating project plans and monitor project budgets.
  • Assist in the development of governance materials and ensure proper document handling.

 

Your profile
You describe yourself as an independent professional with a proactive and structured approach acting with a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks. You have solid experience in driving budget planning processes and facilitating communication among various stakeholders, effectively collaborating with colleagues at all levels in a cross-functional environment. Your excellent organisational skills enable you to manage multiple priorities and deadlines seamlessly. Furthermore, you possess a structured working style and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

We expect that you have:

  • A relevant master’s degree, preferably within finance or business. 
  • Several years’ experience with financial budgeting within larger corporate, international environments.
  • Experience with document management, proofreading, and maintaining of documents.
  • Experience with project management, administration, and calendar management.
  • A flair for IT systems, especially within MS Office 365, SAP and project tools.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and materials.
