The Role

As a Digital Sales Specialist, you will be the driving force behind converting interest into prescribing customers. Acting as the bridge between marketing and sales, you will actively engage Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), build strong relationships, and guide them efficiently through the sales funnel.

Your work will combine strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and relationship building—both with colleagues across functions and with potential customers. You will also contribute insights to improve conversion rates and align national and international strategies.


Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align lead nurturing with inbound activities.
  • Proactively engage and follow up with Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to build trust and understand customer needs.
  • Guide SQLs efficiently through the funnel, converting them into prescribing customers.
  • Act as the primary link between marketing and sales to ensure smooth lead handover and timely responses.
  • Monitor and evaluate lead quality and sales progression, providing actionable insights to improve conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at both national and international levels to share best practices and align strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with pharmacovigilance responsibilities and promotional regulations (CGR).

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing and/or sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with Veeva Promomats and Veeva CRM (preferred).
  • Familiar with digital and online communication tools, including AI.
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels and their potential for engagement.
  • Organized and structured approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and hands-on problem-solving mindset.
  • Independent and responsible, with strong communication and motivational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
  • Familiar with industry processes, regulations, and guidelines regarding pharmaceutical promotion.
