The Role
As Sales Area Manager for Norway, you will take full ownership of your territory, leading and developing your sales team to deliver on ambitious targets. You will implement the Nordic strategy locally, manage cross-functional collaboration, and drive customer engagement through a multi-channel approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop your sales team in line with ALK Leadership and Coaching Model.
  • Analyze market conditions, sales performance, and competitor activities, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Plan and execute the Area Action Plan (AAP) to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
  • Drive multi-channel engagement with healthcare professionals, using ALK’s RISE framework to optimize customer interactions.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to SOPs, ethical standards, and local regulations.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and support national and Nordic projects.
  • Set ambitious targets for your team and monitor progress regularly.
  • Evaluate sales force excellence and implement continuous improvement measures.

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with proven success in team leadership or coaching roles.
  • Strong commercial and business mindset, with excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Solid sales skills and experience engaging healthcare professionals.
  • Academic degree (Bachelor’s or higher) and a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, adapt to change, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English; Norwegian fluency is required.
