The Role
As Sales Manager – Norway, you will lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, driving growth, coaching talent, and executing strategic initiatives. You’ll play a key role in shaping the local implementation of Nordic strategies while ensuring your team delivers on ambitious targets.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and motivate the Norwegian sales team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Set ambitious targets and allocate budgets for Area Managers to optimize sales performance.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and sales results to identify growth opportunities and actionable insights.
- Implement and continuously improve ALK’s sales model and national tactical plans.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Nordic and global teams, ensuring alignment and best practices.
- Support innovation projects and develop team skills through ongoing coaching and training.
- Ensure full compliance with ethical standards, regulations, and company SOPs.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of management experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with proven sales leadership.
- Strong business acumen and experience in planning, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Digital proficiency—CRM systems, sales data tools, and multichannel selling experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both English and Norwegian.
- Business degree (M.Sc. preferred) and valid driving license.
