Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Exciting opportunity as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager in ALK - an international, growing pharmaceutical company.

ALK is seeking a FP&A manager to join our Group FP&A team in Business Finance; a strategic and operational role within ALK focusing on the financial health and business strategy alignment of the organization – while realizing our ambitious Allergy+ strategy.

 

The position
As FP&A manager you will – together with the team – impact our direction and ambitions for our business financial planning and analysis in collaboration with the business and senior management. 

You will become part of the FP&A team of 4 dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality financial analysis and strategic insights. Our team plays a crucial role in shaping financial strategies and insights that impact the broader organization.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Drive monthly Group performance reporting & insights to senior management.
  • Support Group strategic planning and direction setting.
  • Support Group budget and forecast processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Partner with our regions, provide support and understand performance drivers.
  • Serve as a financial sparring partner for the Global People and Organization team, overseeing budget and forecast processes as well as cost management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage the ALK Balanced Scorecard process.
  • Monitor key financial indicators, trends & variances, proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Drive standardization and automation in tools, reports and processes.

You report to the Senior Director FP&A in Business Finance.

 

About you
Our ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, capable of driving high impact and contributing directly to ALK's future success. To be successful in the role, we expect your main qualifications and experience to be in line with:

  • Master’s degree in finance, business/commercial finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally from an international company.
  • Solid financial modelling skills and solid understanding of P&L forecasting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Developed communication skills, capable of effectively presenting financial information to various stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, performing effectively with various levels and functions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

You work proactively and solution oriented and are known for taking initiative. You also work independently and in collaboration with different stakeholders across our organization, act with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness and are used to handle sensitive and confidential information. You are fluent in English and proficient in Danish.
