Experienced Manager of HQ Site Services

The Position
You will in the role of being the Manager of HQ Site Services, ensure seamless functioning and upkeep of our headquarters facilities. This pivotal role supports daily operations by managing essential services, external providers, workplace standards, and supervising our reception, canteen, and travel & meetings support teams.
You will lead a team of 25 with 5 direct reports (2 team leaders and 3 employees) with a focus on service quality, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence and report to SVP Global Procurement & HQ Site Services. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Perform people management by leading, coaching, training, and giving performance feedback to team leaders and employees.
- Ensure all common areas, offices, meeting facilities, and infrastructure are functioning properly through regular inspections and timely repairs.
- Supervise reception and canteen teams, ensuring professional service and customer satisfaction.
- Track KPIs and drive continuous improvements in site services including driving budget responsibilities.
- Oversee external service providers, contracts, and outsourced services according to service level agreements.
- Manage space planning, relocations, and small projects.
- Support efficient business travel, large meetings, and event services.
- Deliver executive-level services for leadership teams, board meetings, and VIP visits.
- Uphold site cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety.
Your profile
Your qualifications and experience:
- Proven leadership experience managing service teams (reception, canteen, hospitality).
- Degree in Facility Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in project and contract management, as well as budget management.
- IT literacy and comfort with facility management service systems.
- Background in facilities management or office services in a corporate environment; pharmaceutical sector experience is an advantage.
- Technical understanding of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security) is preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace safety, food safety, and compliance standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
You have a positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. You are structured and organized in your way of working with a drive to perform without losing attention to detail. You interact and communicate effortlessly with high customer service orientation demonstrating a can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple requirements and remain composed under pressure.
