Market Access Manager

Currently we are seeking a dedicated and driven Market Access Manager to join ALK in Sweden.
About the Role
As a Market Access Manager, you will work strategically and operationally to strengthen the accessibility and use of ALK's products at the regional level in Sweden. The focus is on building, developing, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the regions, ensuring that ALK's offerings are perceived as relevant and value-creating for both healthcare providers and patients.
Main Responsibilities
Regional Market Access Work
- Design and implement market access strategies for ALK’s products tailored to the specific conditions, needs, and reimbursement models of different regions.
- Build, develop, and nurture relationships with decision-makers, officials, purchasers, and politicians within the healthcare management of the regions.
- Support the regions with information, education, and arguments regarding ALK’s offerings, value, and benefits for patients and providers.
External Advocacy Work at Regional Level
- Monitor and analyze policy, structural changes, and initiatives across all 21 regions that may impact access to ALK’s products.
- Participate in relevant regional working groups, projects, and networks to drive and influence issues that are strategically important for ALK.
Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the Swedish sales team, medical, and marketing departments to coordinate efforts and ensure a consistent and effective message to the regions.
- Act as an advisory expert for internal colleagues on regional market access issues and contribute to skill development within the team.
- Report on status and progress to the Nordic Market Access Director and Swedish management.
Environmental Analysis
- Continuously track regional developments, changes in reimbursement systems, and political decisions that affect the conditions for ALK.
Qualifications & Background
- Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, social sciences, economics, pharmacy, or life sciences).
- Experience working with market access, public affairs, healthcare relations, or similar—preferably with a focus on regional level and the pharmaceutical sector.
- Understanding and knowledge of how the Swedish regions operate, reimbursement models, decision-making processes, and the political landscape.
- Strong communication skills and an aptitude for building trust with various target groups.
- Ability to work independently, systematically, and solution-oriented.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel within Sweden.
