Clinical Project Manager

ALK is growing and looking to bring onboard new Clinical Project Managers to join our Clinical Project Management team.

 

The position
Clinical Project Management resides in the Global Clinical Development area that is responsible for driving forward ALK’s global clinical project portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their clinical research career or someone ready for the next step to gain hands on experience in trial management within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will work closely with a senior Clinical Project Manager and a cross functional team to ensure that trials are conducted in compliance with ICH-GCP, Regulatory requirements and internal procedures. You will utilise your professional competencies and experience within clinical trials either from positions as Clinical Research Associate, local trial manager, clinical trial manager e.g. in a CRO or pharma.

In this role you will have a broad variety of assignments in an ever-changing environment, supporting the process of getting new innovative treatments to the market, ultimately improving quality of life for the millions of people suffering from allergies all over the world.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Supporting the day-to-day management and oversight of clinical trials from start-up to close-out in collaboration with the lead Clinical Project Manager and the trial team(s).
  • Asist with trial documentation and study plans.
  • Coordinate trial activities with CROs, vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Track milestones, timelines and CRO oversight activities.
  • Asist with vendor management and invoice tracking.
  • Contribute to trial team meetings, risk management activities and status reporting
  • Promote knowledge sharing across trials and functions to ensure alignment and optimisation of processes.

 

Your profile
You bring experience within clinical research. Your pioneering mindset are thriving with not knowing the answer to every challenge, where you sometimes need to build processes as you go. You’d like to develop your project management skills combined with an understanding of the clinical drug development value chain. You bring an operational mindset from your current role in either pharma or CRO and if you do not have experience within the allergy indication you have an interest in learning more about the therapeutic area.

You like to plan and coordinate and have good people skills. You are motivated by having a broad variety of assignments and you are driven by supporting the process of getting new innovative treatments to the market.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Some experience in clinical research (e.g. clinical Research associate, study coordinator, local trial manager or clinical trial manager or similar from pharma or CRO).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communicating skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in nursing Natural Science or similar educational background.
  • Are proficient in English, both verbal and written.
