Nordic Commercial Excellence Manager

We are looking for a candidate to join Commercial Excellence team in ALK Nordic. We are open for 2 working locations, Hörsholm (Denmark) or Kungsbacka (Sweden).

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Business Development
  • Commercial & Sales Excellence responsible incl. Dashboards and lead for ABP and SBP process
  • Coach for Nordic ComEx team
  • Connect Lead, incl Veeva CRM

 More specifically, while working on this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Business development activities including ROI analysis for specific business cases to secure positive impact in the Nordic Region
  • Be the link between the Financial Business Partner and Nordic securing decisions based on solid foundations and facts
  • Run commercial and sales excellence activities within the Nordic Region in alignment with the need from Commercial Lead/Country managers, and other key stakeholders within ALK
  • Secure that ALK Nordic Commercial dashboards such as CRM system and commercial cockpit are accurate, effective and userfriendly.
  • Sales reporting and follow up to ALK HQ as well as Nordic MT
  • Build and develop new digital commercial concepts/dashboards,
  • Project lead on ABP and SBP co-ordinating all stakeholders, working closely with Nordic General Manager and Country commercial leads/Country manager
  • Act as coach for the Nordic Commercial Excellence Team
  • Nordic Connect Lead leading, planning and implementing Connect initiatives in the Nordic region in close relationship with Commercial/Country Lead
  • Support Nordic Supply Chain Manager im supply forecasting and planning

Geographical scope and peers:

  • Nordic responsibilitity, i.e Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland
  • Responsible for Nordic Commercial and Sales Excellence
  • Participation in European and Global projects 
  • ALK Nordic MT, Country responsible(s) & other functions within the Nordic Organisation
  • ALK Global Marketing & other relevant functions in ALK HQ and European Region
  • Sales data providers, market research institutes & other relevant consultancy firms

Experience and qualifications required in the job:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational excellence/finance business partner role in the pharmaceutical industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance or similar
  • Drivers License
  • Team player with a high degree of independence and responsibility.
  • Very strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial, hands-on mentality.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and the willingness to familiarize yourself with digital topics.
  • Very good English skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders inside and outside the company.
  • Strong drive for succeeding in short- and long-term sales and marketing processes
  • Ability to stay focused when working on multiple activities simultaneously, ability to prioritize
  • Demonstrate a ‘I can and I will’ attitude by identifying right solutions and get the job done
  • Sets high standards for own performance and make the right decisions, dare to make mistakes
  • Wants to learn and improve to release full potential to be better, reach out to colleagues and help others to be a success, asks for and uses feedback to improve
  • IT experience including user-experience with the Microsoft Office programmes is a prerequisite
  • Good people skills enabling establishment of team spirit and results
  • High degree of capability to take own decisions
  • Low level of supervision
