Digital Marketing Specialist
The Digital Marketing Specialist is involved in the regional digital marketing operations and is responsible for managing and optimizing ALK’s digital channels to deliver a consistent and seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
This role focuses on strengthening ALK’s digital presence and driving an omnichannel marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on initiatives for consumers (C2P). The specialist will co-create, implement, and continuously improve digital campaigns, with the aim of optimizing patient and carers activation.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining digital channels, tracking the performance and impact of digital initiatives and developing & executing digital campaigns aligned with Brand Plans. The specialist will do this in close collaboration with local and international teams.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the digital side of ALK’s strategies, in collaboration with other roles within cross-functional (international) teams, and promote a digital mindset within the organization, with a strong emphasis on patient engagement.
- In collaboration with the relevant colleagues, translate multi-channel/omnichannel strategies into tactics and communications, including potential patient touchpoints via CRM, websites, email, social media channels, etc., and execute these tactics.
- Engage patients and carers across all levels of their journey, by tailoring digital tactics and messaging to meet their specific needs
- Track success and impact (KPI tracking) related to the use and performance of digital channels, convert data into actionable user insights, and provide these to marketing, medical, and sales teams to guide the digital transformation.
- Ensure the quality and proper storage of digital data.
- Operate in compliance with responsibilities related to pharmacovigilance and promotional regulations (ABPI).
Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- At least 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience with Veeva Promomats and Veeva CRM is preferable
- Strong with digital and online communication channels, tools and capabilities (including AI).
- Organized and structured approach to work.
- Flexible and pragmatic attitude, with a strong hands-on attitude.
- Independent and responsible worker.
- Strong communication skills; able to translate technical/digital marketing language into understandable terms for non-technical/digital marketing audiences.
- Team player.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with processes, regulations, and relevant guidelines regarding promotion in the pharmaceutical industry.
