Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Workday configuration and is ready to take ownership of specific system areas and initiatives. They can analyze HR data, optimize processes, and build reports to support business decisions.

They are proactive, solution-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across global teams. This role is suitable for someone looking to further develop their configurational skills and take on broader responsibilities within the Workday and HRIS environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the HRIS manager, global process leads, business partners and other business stakeholders to understand the requirements and identify how Workday functionality and configuration can support those needs
  • Design, build, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to support HR decision-making
  • Analyze HR data and reporting outputs to identify trends, support audits, and improve data quality
  • Own and manage the configuration and ongoing optimization of global performance management templates and processes in Workday
  • Own the system configuration activities such as setting up new organizational structures, locations, or data fields
  • Lead or coordinate Workday-related initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with the team roadmap and business priorities
  • Contribute to the design and governance of the Workday security framework in collaboration with the HRIS team
  • Participate in Workday Release review, including impact assessment, testing, and coordination of system updates
  • Contribute to system testing, documentation updates, and continuous improvement of Workday processes
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to other HRIS team members
  • Provide support on Workday Time & Absence configuration where needed, gaining exposure to the module and assisting with process improvements
  • Gradually take ownership of other Workday areas.

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with Workday
  • Hands-on experience working with Workday, including exposure to various system configuration
  • Experience building or modifying reports and working with HR data for analysis or operational insights
  • Ability to translate business requirements into HR system solutions, with experience collaborating with stakeholders to improve HR processes through system capabilities
  • Ability to coordinate tasks, timelines, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
  • Familiarity with core HR processes and how they are supported in HR systems
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience working in an international or global environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to take ownership of system areas and manage tasks independently
  • University degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
