MICROBIOLOGY TEAM LEADER (QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT) – ALK

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a QC Microbiology laboratory team, ensuring technical excellence and operational efficiency.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize workflows and resources, guaranteeing timely delivery of results and compliance with GxP standards.
- Approve and review technical documentation, analytical results, and critical records within the area.
- Develop, train, and evaluate team members to ensure technical and documentation competency.
- Uphold internal procedures, inspection standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain) to achieve operational goals.
- Supervise investigations (OOS/OOT), CAPAs, change controls, audits, and inspections to ensure full compliance.
- Drive improvement projects and the implementation of innovative strategies for continuous optimization.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology) or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control (ideally in pharmaceutical industry and in Microbiology laboratory).
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Advanced knowledge of microbiological analytical techniques, solid understanding of GMP/GLP, and strong documentation skills.
- Demonstrable experience in the design and validation of microbiological methods.
- Experience operating QC systems (LIMS, SAP) is highly valued.
- Strong English skills at all levels (both written and spoken); fluent communication is a must for collaboration, documentation, and international interaction.
- Proven leadership, effective communication, problem solving, and mentoring skills.
- High level of integrity, rigor and commitment to compliance and Data Integrity.
