Associate Director, Franchise Lead – Respiratory Allergy Commercial
We are looking for an Associate Director, Franchise Lead to join our Respiratory Allergy Therapy Area Commercial team. Reporting to the Head of Therapy Area Commercial, you will play a key role in driving performance and enabling markets across the global franchise.
The position
In this role, you will operate with a high degree of independence, translating Therapy Area strategy into clear priorities and tangible impact across markets. You will act as a strategic commercial partner while ensuring executional excellence, working closely with affiliates and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, focus, and performance.
As an Associate Director, Franchise Lead, you will operate across products and indications, segments and geographies, moving beyond traditional brand management to enable markets, unlock growth, and strengthen our position across the Respiratory Allergy franchise.
You will in this position be responsible for:
- Franchise Strategy: Evolve the global franchise strategy and positioning, translating TA priorities into clear strategic choices.
- Performance & Growth: Drive performance by prioritizing key opportunities and optimization across markets.
- Market Shaping: Enable scalable initiatives to expand the franchise categories and unlock demand.
- Affiliate Enablement: Act as strategic partner to markets, providing direction and frameworks to accelerate performance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Represent the commercial TA voice and ensure alignment across functions.
- Business Development: Contribute to potential business cases and evaluations.
- TA Governance: Support Therapy Area planning and prioritization.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Strategy planning: Develop franchise plans, strategic narratives, and decision materials.
- Analyse market performance to identify opportunities and actions.
- Lead market engagement and strategic alignment forums.
- Build frameworks and tools to support local planning.
- Drive cross-market initiatives and ensure follow-through.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making.
- Support business cases and opportunity assessments.
Your profile
We expect that you have:
- Preferably a master’s degree in business, marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is an advantage).
- Extensive experience in global pharmaceutical or biotech commercial roles, operating at franchise, therapy area, or cross-brand level.
- Proven track record in translating strategy into performance and driving growth across multiple markets.
- Strong experience working in complex, cross-functional environments (Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply).
- Demonstrated experience partnering with affiliates and enabling global–local alignment and performance acceleration.
- Experience contributing to portfolio strategy, business development, or in-licensing evaluations is an advantage.
