Sustainability Data Analyst

As Sustainability Data Analyst you will take an active part in managing and analysing our environmental, social and governance (ESG) data. You will be in daily contact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and experience how sustainability plays an important role in our Allergy+ strategy. 

 

Fields of responsibility:

The Sustainability team is responsible for developing ALK’s strategies, policies and targets within the sustainability area, and for embedding sustainability at all levels of the organisation. The team furthermore supports and coordinates the implementation and daily management of the sustainability strategy.  

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for: 

  • Reporting progress to external rating agencies 

  • Responding to investor queries on ESG  

  • Monitoring trends and legal requirements 

  • Identifying and supporting progress on ESG reporting  

  • Analysing data and suggesting improvements 

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards 

  • Communication on web sites and other media 

  • Other ad hoc tasks related to sustainability 

 

Your qualifications:

We are looking for a person with great analytical and collaboration skills, who can support a broad range of tasks within the field of sustainability. 

The preferred candidate has several of the following skills: 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field with strong data and analytics skills (e.g., Accounting/Controlling, Auditing, Environmental Science). A specialisation in Sustainability is a plus.  

  • Min. 2 years of full-time working experience within sustainability e.g., from an ESG rating agency, a consultancy firm or a sustainability team in a private company 

  • Self-motivated, engaged and independent 

  • Strong analytic mindset and confident in using Microsoft Excel, Office, PowerPoint. 

  • Experience with sustainability data monitoring and ESG reporting (CSRD/ESRS/EU Taxonomy) 

  • Experience with ratings like Sustainalytics, MSCI, ISS ESG or EcoVadis 

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English

Organisational placement:

You will be reporting to the Senior Director, Sustainability, who is reporting to EVP of Global People & Organisation. Globally the department consists of 40+ employees.

The position is based in Kraków (hybrid model), Poland where you will be working closely with many of the stakeholders. Your direct manager will be located in Hørsholm, Denmark.
