Community Engagement & Safety Specialist

If so, then you could be the person we are looking for to support our Customer Service activities across markets.
ALK is on an ambitious journey to become the preferred allergy company globally. Since 2018 we have been investing heavily in digital customer-facing activities via our Digital Customer Engagement & Digital Excellence team to interact and support potential end-customers of ALK whether that being doctors, consumers, patients or other people of interest.
The position
You will as the Community Engagement & Safety Specialist work with Community Management and support the ambitious journey with a team that is operating globally in markets across Europe and North America with more to come.
The Community Engagement & Safety (CES) team consists of a few passionate, close-knit colleagues who are based in the Global Content excellence team, within a large Global team of Digital Customer Engagement and Digital Excellence. We strive to change the way people manage their allergies. We aim to constantly improve ourselves and our processes, to meet the needs of people with allergy, our colleagues and partners. Responsibilities and tasks in this role:
- Responsible for Customer Service across Digital Channels for C2P, UNP and Corporate Communication.
- Community Management - Perform daily monitoring of all customer facing platforms, including Zendesk, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter.
- Monitoring and responding to all reviews in app stores.
- Use our Brandwatch software, which integrates all the above platforms, to monitor, respond and engage with users across several countries.
- Have a good awareness of PV issues across all platforms and report in a timely manner.
- Drive effective and compliant communication with users to support and help them in their allergy journey.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback.
- Contribute to user insights required by local affiliates.
- Collaborate with the Digital Products and Marketing team, to identify areas of improvement and fix any urgent issues, using our project management tool Asana.
- Help generate insights reports from Brandwatch for sentiment analysis, etc.

Your profile
Your personal skills & experience cover:
- Experience working with community management.
- Experience in the Microsoft Office package, preferably with Asana and Brandwatch.
- Problem solver mentality – gets a kick out of solving user problems and have experience in working directly with users/customers across countries.
- Focus on putting the customer first and working to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Diligent and meticulous – able to spot safety information and pay attention to details.
- Proactive self-starter and a quick learner with a pragmatic approach to systems, tools and learning.
- Ambitious and curious to learn all areas of Pharmacovigilance and safety information and reporting.
- Comfortable working remotely when needed and enjoy working in a small global team where colleagues are placed on different locations.
- Fluent proficiency in English is a prerequisite – proficiency in more languages is just a plus.
