Job Purpose
- Drive and support finance projects (incl. process improvements).
- Support Global Finance in optimising processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage or participate in specific IT projects as agreed with Director EAC and SVP Global Finance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and deliver robust technical solutions that address current and future business requirements touching Global Finance area.
- Ensure consistent, effective communication of process changes and system updates across relevant teams.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in finance technology and process excellence, providing thought leadership to the organization.
- Drive and oversee finance projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and the needs of the global finance function.
- Support SVP Global Finance in preparations for IT governance boards.
- Plan and coordinate SAP releases, tests, upgrades etc. with GBIT and Finance SMEs.
- Control SAP accesses including ad-hoc and yearly SAP roles review.
- Support yearly IT strategy creation: plan and coordinate activities to prioritise IT projects in Global Finance, participate in IT strategy materials preparation according to IT guidelines.
- Prepare input for Finance application strategy in close cooperation with Global Finance Management Team (GFMT).
- CAB Finance – SAP: participate, prepare/collect input and prioritise SAP initiatives/projects according to CAB governance.
- IT Audit: coordinate and ensure deliveries from Finance to IT auditors.
- Responsible for Finance documentation related to system (roles & responsibilities, supporting documentation for Finance Process SMEs).
- Act as Global Finance contact for GBIT (except for BI solutions).
- Manage profit centers, cost centers, internal orders, hierarchies, sales reduction split, access in BI (ZUA).
- Promote innovation and proactive improvement by continuously identifying opportunities to enhance procedures, services, and systems, and by developing new ideas, methods, and technical solutions that advance the effectiveness and competitiveness of the Global Finance organization.
- Take initiatives to optimise use of IT systems in Global Finance.
- Manage change effectively, communicate clearly with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor, Graduate or Diploma Degree within Finance or equivalent.
Experience
- > 5 years' experience with project management in Finance/IT area.
- Experience in process optimisation and financial systems.
- Experience in accounting or auditing will be an asset.
Skills and competences
- Excelent project management skills.
- Good knowledge of project management frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc).
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good documentation skills and attention to details and accuracy.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and regulations.
- Knowledge of SAP and other similar systems.
- Structured, analytical and process oriented working style.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
