Senior HR Business Partner – Global Business Operations

We're looking for a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) who want more than a seat at the table – someone who helps set the agenda.

At ALK, we're on a mission to become the world leader in allergy and our people strategy is central to getting there. As Senior HRBP for our Global Business Operations (GBO) function, you'll be a strategic partner to leaders across Finance, Procurement, Investor Relations, and Legal & Compliance. 

You will be based at ALK headquarters and report to the Senior Director, People & Organisation (P&O) Denmark, working in close collaboration with the Strategic HRBP for GBO. You will be part of a global P&O team of 40+ colleagues which is a group known for its collaborative spirit, shared ambition, and genuine commitment to making an impact.

What you'll do
This is a partnering role where you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the GBO leadership team to shape how the organisation is built, led, and developed. While your primary focus will be on manager and employee relations, talent development, change management and organizational designing, you’ll also lend your expertise to recruitment processes as we build our teams for the future.

In practice, that means:

  • Translating business goals into people and capability strategies that move the needle.
  • Leading on organizational design, change management, and workforce planning.
  • Driving talent and leadership development across your client groups.
  • Owning the annual HR business cycle and contributing to critical cross-functional projects, including finance transformation and digitalization.
  • Involvement in hiring processes by defining competencies, designing and driving assessments and ensuring quality-of-hire.  
  • Using data and employee listening tools (Workday, Peakon) to generate insight, track impact, and sharpen decision-making.
  • Navigating both the strategic and the operational with equal confidence, because in this role, both matter.

What you bring
You're an experienced HRBP who's built credibility the hard way by understanding the business, challenging constructively, and delivering results that leaders notice.

More specifically, you bring:

  • Significant HRBP experience from a complex, matrixed organisation – ideally with exposure to finance functions or similarly analytical, commercially-driven environments.
  • A track record of partnering with senior stakeholders on both strategic initiatives and day-to-day people challenges.
  • Solid experience across organizational design, change management, talent and leadership development and recruitment.
  • Comfort with data – you use it to build arguments, not just reports.
  • Familiarity with Workday and Peakon (or comparable HRIS and engagement platforms) is a plus.
  • A relevant master's degree or equivalent, and fluency in both Danish and English.
