
Medical Writer
The position
We are looking for a medical writer to be included in our collaborative team of 5 dedicated and outgoing medical writers. We are part of Global Clinical Development (GCD) in the Global Pharmacovigilance & Clinical Development department. GCD is responsible for clinical development activities, including clinical project management, clinical trial supplies, data management, statistics and medical writing.
Responsibilities
- Write and prepare complex scientific and clinical documents for submission to regulatory authorities (e.g., protocol sections, investigator brochures, clinical trial reports, clinical overview and summaries, briefing books, paediatric investigational plans).
- Write and contribute to high-quality manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals as well as abstracts, posters and oral presentations for scientific congresses
- Participate in cross-functional trial and project teams
- Interpret and explain data generated from a variety of sources, including internal and external studies and research documentation
- Contribute to maintenance of standards and systems within GCD
Your qualifications
Ideally you have a university degree in science (M.Sc., M.Sc. Pharm., MD, or equivalent), knowledge of clinical development and ICH GCP, and experience from a similar job in the pharmaceutical industry or research organisation. You have excellent writing and communication skills (fluency in spoken as well as written English).
Importantly, you are able to handle changes in prioritisation of tasks. You can work both independently and as a team player, contributing to a dynamic collaboration with colleagues from many different functional areas. You thrive with several concurrent tasks and at the same time are able to ensure high quality and delivery on time. Further, you are result-oriented and structured with a great sense of details.
