Senior Marketing Manager, Czech Republic

The position

ALK is on an ambitious path to reinforce our position in the Czech Republic as a company that leads the way in treating allergies and helping people who suffer from them.

We are strengthening the Marketing function in ALK Czechia, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join the team. The role offers a unique opportunity to impact the way we think and work with stakeholders and shape the communication.

As our Senior Marketing Manager, Czech Republic, you work independently and in collaboration with different stakeholders across ALK and externally. You are close to the decision-making processes and, therefore, able to contribute significantly to ALK’s future success. You will report to the General Manager Growth Markets CEE.

The purpose of the role

Your role will be to prepare and implement the strategies and business activities to maximize usage and profitability of assigned products and to build positive image of the company.

What you will do

• You will take the ownership for formulating and driving the marketing strategy for ALK products in Czech Republic.
• Develop and implement business solutions based on trends, opportunities, needs, and market direction within the industry.
• Prepare and support marketing activities for the portfolio of ALK products.
• Develops specific marketing plans for products or therapeutic areas within the organization.
• Analyze data and make strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with other ALK affiliates, with Global Marketing Team and Marketing & Sales organization within the Region.
• Relationship management: establish and foster credible relationships with physician leaders, medical directors, and key customers.
• Identify new product indication opportunities through discussions with institutional leaders (companies, care facilities) and the establishment of advisory boards.
• Manage the budget for the therapeutic area.
• Ensure product placement and development corresponds to market needs.
• Organise, execute and ensure all assigned activities as well as own initiatives supporting to reach company goal in Czech Republic.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate who moves comfortably around with health authorities and Opinion Leaders in the local environment. We expect an experience on negotiations with a payer and economical commission.

An ideal candidate is experienced with digital and hybrid marketing and is expected to be highly experienced in the industry and familiar with the allergology area.

Moreover, we expect:

•             10+years of significant professional experience within the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.

•             Readiness to travel all over the country and support Key Account Specialists in daily job.

•             Innovative and readiness to propose entrepreneurial solutions.
