Global Finance Applications Coordinator

About the Role
ALK is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Global Finance Applications Coordinator to join our Global Finance team. This role focuses on managing financial systems and supporting system-related projects that drive process improvement and operational efficiency across the finance function.

You will work closely with Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the GBIT (Global Business IT) organization to ensure smooth operation and development of core financial systems such as SAP, xFlow, and Concur.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Applications Management (60%):

• Coordinate SAP releases, system testing, upgrades, and related activities

• Provide ongoing support to Finance SMEs in managing SAP, xFlow, and Concur

• Oversee SAP access requests, including coordination of training and annual role reviews

• Maintain up-to-date system documentation and process guidelines

• Collect and prepare necessary documentation for IT audits

• Create and maintain SAP master data

Finance IT Projects (40%):

• Manage or actively contribute to finance-related IT projects

• Coordinate tasks and activities on behalf of the Finance department

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance or a related field

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial systems roles

• Proven track record in process optimization and system implementation

• Familiarity with SAP, Concur, and other finance tools

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Structured, analytical, and process-oriented approach to work

• Project coordination or project management experience

• Fluent in written and spoken English
