Area of Responsibilities

  • Support overall objectives of Global Procurement (supply risk mitigation, quality compliance, cost optimization, sustainability and innovation) regarding materials and services at site France, enabling short- and long-term sustainable performance and improvement.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders at site France to facilitate and manage strategic and tactical procurement activities, such as sourcing, negotiations, contracting, supplier management, deviations and optimizations in accordance with the procurement strategy for site France.

 

Work Assignments

  • Lead contract negotiations for both recurring and new agreements.
  • Source new materials and services, providing support for their implementation.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on special purchasing items.
  • Oversee capital procurement, including the development and execution of procurement plans for Investment Assets (IA).
  • Manage strategic vendor relationships at the local level, as well as with select regional and global suppliers.
  • Contribute to global projects and tasks within Global Procurement.
  • Responsible for GMP materials:
    • Sourcing.
    • Conduct business risk assessments and provide input for supplier approval forms.
    • Lead negotiation and contracting processes with suppliers.
    • Contribute to supplier evaluation forms.
  • Escalation point for Logistics regarding major supplier deviations.
  • Provide input to the Finance team for the budgeting process.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings.
  • Organize quarterly procurement site meetings with site management and Global Procurement.
  • Lead annual or regular business review meetings with suppliers.
  • Support Category Managers in the development and planning of category strategies.
  • Own and maintain the site procurement plan and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence and knowledge of the supply market.
  • Support overall procurement objectives, including risk mitigation, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective use of the contract management system.
  • Act as the Global Procurement representative during site audits.

 

Competences

  • Proven experience in procurement within manufacturing environments.
  • Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Strong analytical and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • Very good English skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supplier management.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Project management capabilities.
