




Senior Manager for Flow and Stability team in Analytical Development

In this key role, you will lead a highly skilled team responsible for managing stability studies and delivering analytical results to support the release of materials for clinical studies in our pipeline projects. Your team contributes to the validation of new analytical methods and to transfer of analyses to the commercial analytical area.
You will oversee cross-functional activities in collaboration with analytical laboratories across R&D and Quality Control, ensuring alignment and excellence in execution. Additionally, you will play a central role in our ongoing efforts to implement automation in both laboratory workflows and data handling processes. Flow and Stability Analytical Development is a team known for its high expertise, professionalism, and pro-active and open-minded approach.

The position
As Senior Manager for Flow and Stability Analytical Development, you will be part of Analytical Development consisting of 40 committed colleagues divided into 4 departments and a core team and headed by the Senior Director of Analytical Development. Flow and Stability Analytical Development consists of six Laboratory Technicians and five Scientists. All deliveries in the Flow and Stability Analytical Development are made with a high focus delivering analytical data (stability and clinical batch release) for clinical phase I-III development, regulatory requirements and at the same time ensuring that the validated state of our analytical procedures is maintained. Organisationally, Analytical Development is part of Global CMC Development in R&D.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a highly skilled team ensuring a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to a team of scientists and laboratory technicians, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and quality-focused culture.
- Support in development of new analytical methods.
- Ensure timely and compliant delivery of analytical data for stability studies and clinical batch release to support clinical development phases I–III and regulatory submissions.
- Together with our Laboratory Automation Development department set direction in our journey on optimizing technologies that will improve our current laboratory and data flow.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration by alignment with project teams and analytical laboratories in R&D and Quality Control, ensuring smooth execution of cross-functional projects and shared goals.
Your profile
We are looking for a leader who has:
- A master’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in people management, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Background in CMC development across all clinical phases, with hands-on experience in delivering analytical results for stability studies, clinical batch release, and process development samples.
- A passion for laboratory excellence and continuous improvement, with a drive to transform manual processes into digital and automated solutions.
- A strategic and solution-oriented mindset with an ability to navigate complex challenges, adapt to evolving project goals, and lead teams toward successful outcomes.
- Developed communication and collaboration skills and a proven record of excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering a culture of quality, transparency, and continuous learning.
