Your Role as IT Architect

As an IT Architect in the Infrastructure Services team within Global IT, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering endpoint management solutions. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure colleagues and stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in client services to secure and optimize ALK’s IT architecture.

This is an international role with approx. 5–10 travel days per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver projects focused on Windows Server, Windows 11, and M365.

• Manage MECM Current Branch and Microsoft Intune.

• Administer Group Policies and implement centralized computer management tools.

• Develop and optimize operating system deployment via task sequences.

• Secure and continuously improve IT client architecture, including baseline applications.

• Lead and participate in Global IT Infrastructure Services projects.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft enterprise products.

• Support the integration and qualification of new technologies.

• Contribute to Microsoft and 3rd party application patching processes.

• Document best practices and train IT professionals.

• Stay updated on industry trends to drive forward-thinking solutions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align with ALK’s strategic goals.

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience with Windows client/server design in an enterprise environment.

• Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).

• Proficiency in PowerShell or other Microsoft scripting.

• Experience with Microsoft Intune.

• Strong focus on security across infrastructure and architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to communicate clearly and work cross-functionally.

• Passion for innovation and staying at the forefront of IT technologies.

• Experience with GxP and qualification of computerized systems is an advantage.

• Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
