We work to meet the needs of 500 million allergy sufferers, their families and healthcare professionals. In the UK we are growing our existing portfolio and are excited to be have launched two new immunotherapy treatments earlier this year. We are looking for ambitious marketing manager who cares about making a difference for people with allergy. The Role
You will lead the marketing team working to develop our omnichannel offerings to deliver great customer experiences. There will be opportunity to work on the existing portfolio and on our immunotherapy launches. You will develop and implement the marketing campaigns and work closely together with the sales and medical team to implement and execute our corporate strategies. Your initiatives can make a difference. Success will be achieved by working collaboratively and living the ALK culture of doing the right thing, pursuing growth and building bridges.

• Develop, execute and review marketing strategies and tactics/activities supporting business strategy, stimulating brand & sales performance
• Budget responsibility and tracking
• Ensure a good collaboration with local departments (sales, customer service, medical, finance), global and external stakeholders (allergy association, patient organisations, KOL's etc.)
• Prepare and define local omni-channel marketing strategy and tactics in line with the global strategic vision

• Manage a marketing team of 1 FTE
• Drive commercial excellence with alignment on strategy and tactical planning to work efficiently with proven return on investment
• Plan, develop, and review local marketing campaigns and activities according to the agreed strategies in the marketing and tactical plans
• Participate and follow up on Global Marketing strategy and campaign planning, adjusting to the local situation within all appropriate guidelines (PMCPA Code of Practice, MHRA Blue Guide)
• Enhance KOL management together with Medical Lead and National Sales Manager
• Attend national and international meetings and conferences to build strong customer partnerships by working closely with the sales team, KOL contacts and other relevant stakeholders
• Actively participate in commercial cross functional teams and tactical meetings to drive commercial excellence
• Monitor changes in the NHS funding pathways and work closely with Commercial Manager to ensure marketing activities are aligned with market access strategy
• Ensure marketing activities are aligned with priorities and budgets including return of investment analysis and budget cost follow up
• Responsibility that marketing campaigns/materials and events are strictly implemented in accordance with all local regulations for promotion of pharmaceutical products
• Continuous excellent collaboration with all internal stakeholders and global colleagues across ALK
• Development, execution and review of local omni-channel marketing plans that define the strategy across the product portfolio

• Three to five years experience in specialist pharmaceutical marketing role(s)

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Ability to stay focused and manage priorities within a dynamic environment
• User-experience with the Microsoft Office suite is a prerequisite
• Strong drive for succeeding in short and long term sales and marketing processes
• Constantly build knowledge of allergy and allergic asthma including being seen as repository of competitor intelligence excellence
• Deep customer insights of relevant stakeholders within field of allergy and allergic asthma in an ever changing NHS environment
• Good scientific knowledge in the field of allergy, allergic asthma, allergy immunotherapy, anaphylaxis and our diagnostic product portfolio is beneficial
