
PACKAGING TEAM LEADER - DEPARTAMENTO PACKAGING

At ALK, a pharmaceutical company continually fighting against allergies and dedicated to patients, committed to excellence in the production of high-quality medicines, we are looking to incorporate a TEAM LEADER to join our dynamic and growing team within the Packaging Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of operators and supervisors in their specific shift by providing support, development, and guidance.
- Develop the staff under your supervision by identifying their capabilities and areas for improvement, promoting their growth, and ensuring they achieve their individual and group goals by generating performance reports and strategies for improvement.
- Supervise the conditioning processes and the assigned operational personnel.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations in production.
- Monitor and adjust technical parameters during the conditioning process.
- Prepare reports and track production as KPI indicators.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and ensure the correct execution of procedures.
- Manage and update documentation associated with the conditioning processes.
- Collaborate/lead improvement ideas for conditioning processes and open deviation and change control requests.
Requirements:
- Academic background: Degree in a scientific field (engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, or similar).
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in production within the pharmaceutical industry or a related environment, holding a leadership role and managing teams.
- Strong communication and conflict management skills.
- Knowledge:
- High level of English (both spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Office applications (Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
- Knowledge and experience using SAP for production management and inventory control.
- Availability to work a fixed afternoon shift (15:05h-23h) with no rotation.
Valued:
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulations.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
